Many of the Consortium’s events will occur in the Legion Hall, including the dance Saturday night (17 June) dance with the band Good Co.– https://ptal26.org/calendar/ (accessed 14 May 2023)

The organizers of the Good Co dance will probably want to notify participants to stay on the Olympic Peninsula the night of 17 June, or they might wish to schedule the dance early enough that off-Olympic-Peninsula folks can get back across the bridge before it closes.

17 June (Sat.)  Steampunk Hootenanny in Port Townsend
Two bands: Good Co and Hot Damn Scandal.

Doors open at 7:30 pm.

This Steam Punk Hootenanny dance is part of the 16 – 18 June 2023 Brass Screw Consortium’s event in Port Townsend, which has been organized and is hosted by Olympic Peninsula Steam. The Saturday night dance will occur at the Port Townsend American Legion Dance Hall. Per my phone conversation with the organizers, tickets to the dance will be prioritized to people who purchase the Steam Punk three-day package, and then if there are any dance tickets left, people can buy tickets to just the Saturday night dance.

Good CO is a fantastic band with great vocals, trumpet, saxophone, keyboard, bass, guitar and one rocking song after another (and some slow songs, too). Mostly East Coast Swing and Lindy Hop with some West Coast and a few cha chas.  Come and dance or come just to listen; Good Co is fun either way.
Hot Damn Scandal I’ve not heard, but they must be good to fit in with rest of the great program that Olympic Peninsula Steam has put together
